This is a modern House porject, single-family home located on the top of Santiago hill, designed to harmonize with its natural surroundings and offer panoramic views of the Andes mountains and Santiago valley. Despite the north-south orientation of the plot, the client requested a northern entrance and natural light in all interior spaces, which was achieved by organizing the home around a central axis with interior patios that optimize light throughout the year. The design emphasizes simplicity and elegance, using the terrain shape to create diagonal views of the city. Key design elements include: + Interior Gardens, to control light and shadow across seasons. + Non-Orthogonal Geometry, that follows the terrain's shape. + Differentiated Levels, that create a dynamic interior space. + North-Facing Interior Spaces with controlled light entry. + Energy Efficiency through natural light, insulation, and thermopanel windows.
